The new US Strategic Command Control Center is complete. The 916,000 square foot facility, located on Offutt Air Force Base near Omaha, Nebraska, will accommodate 3500 employees and will be the US military command center during national emergencies.
GES Tech Group was retained in 2016-17 to provide general mechanical and structural engineering services on behalf of a mechanical contractor. Some of the many services provided by GES Tech included piping support design (thermal, gravity, seismic, and process loads), HVAC system supports, cooling tower piping, welding and bolting consultation, equipment anchorage, heavy structural steel design for equipment loads and general support on design issues.
