In 2016, GES Tech Group was retained to develop the protocol for a drop-in-anchor proof load test that could be applied in the field. Several possible conditions required investigation including under insertion, over insertion, cluster effect of multiple anchors, and edge distance. The tests were conducted using a portable hydraulic proof test device. The results were compiled and presented to the client. GES Tech Group provided official certification approving the use of the anchors under all investigated conditions.
