In 2019, GES Tech Group was retained by a Canadian Manufacturer to provide design services for a new process vessel. GES Tech Group was responsible for all design elements to support the proprietary internal components of the system and also was responsible for design of transportation and erection procedures. The client ultimately retained GES Tech Group to provide on-going engineering support as this new design evolved over time.
Two options were provided to the client for rotating the vessel from horizontal to vertical for installation at the customers processing plant. The best and safest option was a two crane coordinated lift, in accordance with a detailed procedure provided by GES Tech Group.
