Multi-channel spectrum analysis for heavy industrial compressors and gensets, trouble shooting and mitigation of vibration related structural problems
In 2016, GES Tech Group was retained by an equipment manufacturer to investigate severe vibration issues resulting in damage to mounts and loss of plant production capacity. The customer was located in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico. The investigation involved impact resonance test procedures and documentation of the response spectrum over the entire RPM range of the motor driven chillers. Based on test results, GES Tech Group recommended mitigation by modification of the resonant response spectrum.
