In 2010, GES Tech Group was retained to provide design services for a South Africa iron ore mine. Two large traction thickeners were reviewed and erection engineering services were provided.
Tasks assigned to GES Tech Group included non-linear static and dynamic analysis, process related (turbulence, flow dynamics) and erection loading.
GES Tech Group was also contracted to provide on-site inspection and a formal presentation to the owner’s engineering department in Johannesburg, with particular emphasis on the dynamic performance of the bridge assembly.
