In 2024, GES Tech Group was retained to investigate installation issues related to catwalk connections for heavily loaded W24x229 beams spanning 36 feet on an industrial catwalk structure. A due diligence review indicated that the overall connection design was likely defective. This finding rendered the original scope of GES involvement moot.
Under a revised scope-of-services, GES Tech Group conducted an extensive investigation that resulted in the installation of a corbel support designed by others that corrected the original design defect.
